Our Code of Conduct establishes the principles and standards that guide the way we conduct business across our frozen food, meat, seafood, agricultural products, sourcing, storage, logistics, and distribution activities in Spain and international markets.
We are committed to conducting our business with integrity, professionalism, transparency, accountability, and respect for our customers, suppliers, employees, business partners, consumers, and the environment.
As a food and agricultural products company, we recognize that trust is essential throughout the supply chain. Our approach therefore places strong emphasis on food safety, product quality, traceability, responsible sourcing, fair commercial practices, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
We conduct our business honestly and responsibly. Employees, representatives, suppliers, and business partners are expected to act with integrity and avoid activities that could compromise the company’s reputation or the trust of our customers.
We do not tolerate dishonest business practices, fraud, falsification of documents, deliberate misrepresentation, or other conduct that could undermine legitimate commercial relationships.
All business decisions should be based on professional considerations, product quality, customer requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable laws.
We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
Employees and business partners must not offer, promise, authorize, request, or accept improper payments, gifts, favors, or other benefits intended to influence a business decision improperly.
We expect all representatives acting on behalf of the company to comply with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and to maintain accurate and transparent business records.
Food safety is a fundamental priority in our operations.
We are committed to handling frozen foods, meat, seafood, agricultural products, and other food products responsibly throughout sourcing, storage, transportation, distribution, and delivery.
Our food-business activities are guided by applicable food-safety requirements and appropriate quality-control procedures. EU food law places responsibility on food-business operators to ensure that food placed on the market is safe and establishes traceability throughout production, processing, and distribution.
We expect employees, suppliers, logistics partners, and other relevant parties to maintain appropriate standards of hygiene, handling, storage, temperature control, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
We support effective traceability throughout the food supply chain.
Where applicable, product information should allow the company and relevant authorities to identify suppliers, products, batches or lots, customers, and distribution routes.
Traceability helps protect consumers, supports food-safety management, and enables rapid action when a food-safety issue occurs. EU requirements specifically establish traceability across the food supply chain.
We therefore encourage accurate documentation and responsible information management from sourcing through final delivery.
We aim to work with suppliers and producers who demonstrate responsible business practices and compliance with applicable requirements.
Supplier selection may consider factors such as:
We expect suppliers and business partners to provide truthful and accurate information concerning products, origin, specifications, quantities, certifications where applicable, and other relevant documentation.
We believe that long-term business relationships should be based on fairness, transparency, professionalism, and mutual respect.
We seek to maintain responsible relationships with producers, processors, suppliers, distributors, customers, logistics companies, and other commercial partners.
Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food publishes a Code of Good Commercial Practices for food-chain contracting that emphasizes principles including legality, consumer protection, loyalty, good faith, professional diligence, and sustainability.
Our company supports these principles as part of our commitment to responsible participation in the food and agricultural supply chain.
We are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful working environment.
Employees should be treated fairly and with dignity. We do not support discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior in the workplace.
Employees are expected to perform their responsibilities professionally and to contribute to a safe, respectful, and cooperative working environment.
Employees and representatives should avoid situations where personal interests could improperly influence business decisions.
Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed through appropriate internal channels so that they can be assessed and managed fairly.
Business decisions should always be made in the legitimate interests of the company and its customers rather than for improper personal benefit.
Confidential business information must be handled responsibly.
Employees and business partners may have access to information concerning customers, suppliers, prices, contracts, products, logistics, commercial strategies, and other company activities.
Such information should only be used for legitimate business purposes and handled in accordance with applicable confidentiality and data-protection requirements.
We recognize the importance of reducing the environmental impact associated with food production, storage, transportation, packaging, and distribution.
Where commercially and operationally appropriate, we seek to support practices that improve resource efficiency, reduce unnecessary waste, encourage responsible sourcing, and promote more sustainable supply-chain operations.
We also encourage our business partners to consider environmental responsibility in their own activities.
Where our activities involve meat, seafood, animal-derived products, or agricultural supply chains, we expect applicable animal-health, animal-welfare, hygiene, and food-safety requirements to be respected.
We seek to work with responsible suppliers and partners who operate in accordance with applicable laws and recognized industry requirements.
Accurate records are essential to responsible food and agricultural trading.
Commercial, financial, product, logistics, quality, and traceability records should be complete, accurate, and maintained appropriately.
Employees must not knowingly create, alter, conceal, or destroy business records for the purpose of misleading customers, authorities, auditors, suppliers, or other stakeholders.
We are committed to complying with applicable Spanish, European Union, and international laws and regulations relevant to our activities.
This includes applicable requirements relating to:
Spain’s current national food-chain control framework, PNCOCA 2026–2030, covers official controls across the food chain and includes food safety, animal welfare, food quality, and the protection of consumer interests.
We recognize that transportation and storage are important components of food quality and safety.
Products should be handled, stored, transported, and delivered according to applicable product requirements and agreed specifications.
For frozen and temperature-sensitive products, appropriate cold-chain practices and documentation should be maintained to protect product quality and safety.
Our customers and consumers deserve accurate, clear, and reliable information about the products we supply.
We aim to provide appropriate product information and respond professionally to legitimate customer questions, complaints, quality concerns, and requests for documentation.
If a potential food-safety or compliance concern is identified, appropriate procedures should be followed promptly to investigate the issue and, where necessary, take corrective action.
Employees and business partners are encouraged to raise genuine concerns regarding suspected misconduct, fraud, corruption, food-safety risks, serious regulatory violations, or breaches of this Code of Conduct.
Reports should be made responsibly and in good faith through the appropriate company communication channels.
We do not support retaliation against individuals who raise legitimate concerns in good faith.
We encourage suppliers, distributors, logistics providers, agents, contractors, and other business partners to maintain standards consistent with the principles contained in this Code.
Where appropriate, these principles may be incorporated into supplier requirements, commercial agreements, quality procedures, or other contractual arrangements.
Responsible business is an ongoing commitment.
We regularly seek opportunities to improve our food-safety practices, supply-chain transparency, customer service, environmental performance, ethical standards, and operational procedures.
Our Code of Conduct may be reviewed and updated as our business develops and as applicable laws, regulations, industry practices, and stakeholder expectations evolve.
Our Code of Conduct reflects our commitment to doing business responsibly.
Through integrity, food safety, traceability, responsible sourcing, fair commercial relationships, environmental awareness, and respect for people, we aim to build reliable and sustainable relationships throughout the frozen food and agricultural products supply chain.
Integrity. Quality. Transparency. Responsibility.
These principles guide how we work with customers, suppliers, employees, producers, logistics partners, and communities in Spain and international markets.
